I've just been to Melbourne. Technically I'm still in Melbourne (My Cellphone says Parkville, which is pretty much bang in the middle, so I'll have to go with still being in Melbourne.) but as I type, I'm on the SkyBus speeding back to the Airport. The flight doesn't leave until 18:55, but I'm anticipating grief getting through the new "enhanced" airport security. We'll see how I go. There were no problems getting through Albury airport security, but... well... what do you expect from Hicksville airport? Today I was running around downtown Melbourne with Si. Very entertaining. We visited damn near every camera store in town no less than 3 times each. To be fair, it would probably be better to get the right camera at the right price first time rather than having to waste a huge amount of money on a useless POS digicam. I think Si eventually settled on the Fuji Finepix D30... not sure. It was a something-30. Anyway... I'll post more in a little bit. The announcer on the SkyBus TV just pronounced us as being "Just about to arrive at Melbourne Airport". I'm pretty sure I'll have *plenty* of time in the airport lounge, once I get through the frisking stations. fingers crossed for a cute chicky-babe. :)
